Notts go close early on with a chance falling to Dudfield but the keeper and the post manage to keep the chance out with Notts playing some good football in the early minutes.

Pilkington catches a cross and released the ball to Weston who steams up field and shoots but the keeper can only parry the ball which falls to Notts top scorers Butcher who shoots and scorers with the keeper beat not moving in the center of the goal.Scored Goal

Dagenham go close but the shot goes wide and a Notts survive after just taking the lead.

First Yellow card shown on ten minutes to Pearce for a decision only the ref knew about.

When Nurse played a ball on a shot by a Dagenham player went wide and gave Pilkington no problems.

When another cross came over Pilkington caught the ball and released the flying Weston who was causing problems with his pace but the cross went over and came to nothing.

Weston shot at goal which took a deflection and Lee was the one to react quickest but he took a wild swing and missed a good chance of doubling Notts score.

A free kick for Notts after 20 minutes but MacKenzie could not keep it down and the keeper watched it clear the bar.

Notts were defending better and when Dagenham got close to goal they did not give Pilkington any problems.

Notts got there first corner when a shot by Dudfield was saved well by Roberts.

Weston was playing some fantastic football and played a great ball across the park to find McCann but when the cross came in Lee was off side.

It was Dagenham turn to put pressure on and sloma was the one with the chance but Notts clear.


Dagenham put more pressure on and when they have Notts at sixes and seven with more attacking players than defenders but Notts some how clear the ball.

The game was now going through a scrappy stage with both teams not being able to crate a descent chances.

Pilkington was caused to save the ball when a cross came over and a Benson header towards goal was saved easy by the Notts keeper.

A corner to Notts on 35 minutes was played over but was cleared and a free-kick was awarded to the home side.

McCann found Dudfield who crossed over to Weston who found McCann but his chance went wide.

After some iffy defending Tann came to Notts rescue and cleared for a throw.

Lee found Hunt and when he crosses the ball it falls to Weston who shoots but when his shot is blocked the ball falls to the same player but he shoots wide this time.

Pearce gave away a free kick by bringing down Benson in the last minute of the half.

The free kick came to nothing with Notts winning a free kick.

Notts deserved there lead but may regret not getting more goals.

Half Time Dagenham 0-1 Notts County

Dagenham start the half the better and after 4 minutes of the half Pilkington brings down Nurse for a penalty.

Southam makes not mistake from the spot and Notts are made to pay for a slow start.

Dagenham are the better team and get a corner straight after the goal but when the ball comes over Notts some how clear the ball for another corner.

The corner was cleared but Lee gives away a free kick in a dangerous position and when Mackenzie argues the decision he is booked.

The free-kick was easily claimed by the Notts keeper.

Notts are second best to most things at the start of the second half and need to calm things down.

Weston tried to get Notts back in front but his shot was deflected into the keeper’s arms in a rare Notts chance.

Canoville after a fine run to the edge of the box wasted the ball when maybe he should of shot.

Tann losers the ball to Nurse and the player is bought down by Pearce who gets his second yellow card and Notts are down to 10 men.

It is all Dagenham with the home side the only team looking like getting 3 point from the game

Dagenham win there 3rd corner of the half but is cleared by Notts.

With 15 minutes to go Notts had got organized after the sending off and were playing a 4-4 1 with lee on his own.


Dagenham tried to win another penalty when it looked like Tann handled in the box but the ref waved play on.

Notts win there first corner of the second half with 8 minutes to go.

When the ball came in it fell to silk who plays the ball towards goal and his cleared when going towards the goal.

Notts start to put a bit of pressure on late on and win free kick with McCann to take it its headed away to easy.

Another free kick is given to Notts with McCann to take again and is cleared again.

Duds to butcher but when the ball is played back to duds he is off side with Notts starting to think they could get more than a point from this game.

Notts win a corner late on with McCann to take. The ball comes over and is headed away to easy.

3 minutes of added time are now being played and the home side putting pressure on but Notts relieve pressure by getting a free kick.

When a free kick is played in to the Dagenham box lee wins a fine header and the ball falls to Weston who wastes a fine chance and the keeper claims the ball.
