Small Business Enterprise Scheme

Dear Mr Trew.

Firstly may I congratulate you and all concerned at Notts County FC on a terrific effort by all not just in respect of clinching the League Two Title b(which of course is fantastic!), but for bringing some much needed stability and indeed decorum back to the club.

The decision you made to avoid administration was indeed a brave one and I am sure you are still some way from ensuring the threat of this has been removed all together. However, you got me thinking.

I am a small business owner and have had the unfortunate experience of losing a business to liquidation in the past due to my largest clients all going into administration.

Your stance to avoid this with Notts was admirable and with this in mind is it worth considering putting together a Notts County small business club?

This would help to bring small local business into the Notts County community with business support and advice from you and your team and an opportunity to start filling those executive boxes, conference suites etc once the refurbishment is completed.

I understand that there is alot to consider with this but I would be more than willing to research the possibilities of this further in the way of structure, membership, networking formats etc.

I have so much more I would like to comment on this subject and have many ideas but have tried to keep as brief as possible for the sake of the message board!

Regards,
Richard.
