Thompson To Stay

 

Despite building supporter pressure, Notts county manager Steve Thompson and his backroom staff will remain at the helm of the clubs on the pitch affairs.

The recent weekend result, a 3-1 turnover at Wycombe, is the latest in the 07/08 season's poor start.

The supporters trust representatives, one of whom is now chairman at meadow lane, have stated clearly for the second time that the manager will be here until the end of the season.

Is this a good thing?

Well the club needs stability, which is what is happening, but this will not please some fans on Internet message boards that are considering detaching themselves from the club they support.

The Magpies sit in 16th position, with 2 wins from the 10 games played.

Only time will tell!
