Sunday Supplement (Our views on what’s wrong and how to solve it)

Well it`s Sunday a day after one of the worst results in Notts County’s modern day history.
Here at www.youpues.co.uk we look at what went wrong and how Notts County has a club can move forward.

So first we will look at yesterday.

A very poor day for all to do with Notts County.

The game started like most of the last few games for Notts which was very slow with not many chances created.

The question is how this can be changed?
Well more pride is needed when wearing those black and white stripes.

Maybe the introduction of the reserve team again would put more pressure on players who believe they have the right to play even if they play good or bad.

This would also give those players who are low on confidence a chance to play some football without the pressure situation.

It would also allow the current management to see how all the players can play without sending them out on loan.

Next we look at the management.

Well on a local radio station's answer phone and some internet message board’s fans were asking for the current management team to be sacked or even for them to resign.

Well the answer from www.youpies.co.uk to those fans is quite simple that’s not the answer.
We have a new management team in charge of which most fans wanted.

They came into a club with no money and a team that was bought by the previous manager, so think about it.

If you were expecting them to play out the current season unbeaten then for gods sake wake up.
Charlie and the gang are the right ones for the club and anybody that listened to his after match interview on BBC radio Nottingham yesterday will know that he was hurting just like you the fan.

It is going to take time and maybe it won’t be this season but they will assemble a team that will get us out this league and wear those shirts with pride.

So please support them in the coming matches.

Yesterdays chanting of 'what a load of rubbish' and ' your not fit to wear those shirts' has now gone yes it wont be forgotten for some time.

Maybe we were wrong to sing those songs but it was in the heat of the moment.
The question you need to ask yourself is if you want Notts to move forward then get behind them starting Tuesday.

If you still want to get on their backs and moan then don’t start moaning when they make more mistakes and we have a relegation fight on our hands.

Investment needed

Can the club move forward without big investment?
Well yes it could but it would take a miracle.

The truth of the matter is Charlie needs money to get better players.

Even the worlds greatest managers need money and could not assemble a team of freebies each season that nobody wants, you only have to look at Peterborough and MK Dons for that statement to be true.

Well now we are out the cup and the gates are around the 4,000 mark every week a sugar daddy is needed.

The question is would Notts get big investment without the trust having to relinquish its control of the club?

The answer is I think not; just ask yourself if you wanted to buy a company would you want to own it?

Could the club risk going back this way you only have to look back a few seasons at what happened under Storie and Scardino to start having nightmares again.

So maybe it is not a big investment that is wanted but lots of smaller ones still giving the trust yes us fans control of our club.

How would you find this investment without taking out an advert in the 'admag' well I hope and pray that the board have the answer to this question or are at least working on it?
