Notts kicked-off this game with Weston and Lindfield having an early touch for his new club.
Accrington Stanley were applying the early pressure and earn an early free kick which Notts clear.
Notts were the next to create a chance but when Canoville put over a dangerous cross Stanley clear the ball away.
Stanley were running the game in early few minutes and when Harris controlled the ball with his chest and brought the ball down it looked dangerous but he shoots over the top of Pilkington’s goal.
Notts were now finding it struggle to clear the ball and Stanley got their first corner on 8 minutes.
The corner was totally wasted when played short it was just put out for a goal kick.
Notts started to get back in the game and when the ball fell to butcher on 11 minutes you sensed he might add to his 5 goals this season but he shot wide.
Lindfield and Weston were now starting to get in the game and some fine work between the two fell to Weston whose cross was too near the keeper who claimed easy.
Notts now were staring to look dangerous going forward and when Weston was running at defence he got to the edge of box and goes down but it was a good tackle and the ref plays on.
Stanley were the next to create a chance and when D`sane passed to Whalley he crossed the ball but mayo cleared but the ball fell to branch who shoots over.
Notts went in front when Dudfield found the new boy Lindfield who shot and put the magpies a head 1-0.
Pilkington was in action next when he saved from D`sane on 26 minutes after the attacker gets wrong side of Tann.
Lindfield nearly got his second after the two Notts strikers combined well but this time his shot just cleared the bar.
A corner to Stanley in injury time fell to Craney who shoots just wide giving Notts a half time lead.

Notts force a corner in the early minutes it was the magpies 1st corner of game but when it comes over Stanley get a free kick.
Weston crosses but when Lindfield goes for the ball the ref gives a free kick for a foul on the keeper.
Mayo was the first player to be cautioned after giving away a foul.
Notts get their second corner of the game with MacKenzie to take but the keeper claims the ball.
Accrington Stanley nearly got a goal when a shot by D`sane was only parried by Pilkington to the Accrington Stanley striker Mullin but the Notts keeper saved.
Cavanagh was the next to go close but he drove just over the bar after a Stanley corner.
Accrington were now getting more into the game with D`sane causing problems and it was the named striker that shot but the ball was straight at Pilkington who held the ball.
Dudfield was the next player to get booked when he was offside but still shot on goal giving the ref no choice but to show him the yellow card.
A Mayo cross-caused some danger when the keeper did not get the ball cleanly and Dudfield went to get the ball he may have been fouled but the ref played on and the ball was cleared.
The goal scorer was to go off after 78 minutes and be replaced by Hector Sam has Notts look to freshen things up.
Whalley was to shoot off target but Mullin's threw himself at the ball and was so close to getting his head to the ball.
Accrington got their 6th corner on 85 minutes but Butcher cleared.
McCann was to get the ball and with his first touch and gave Sam the ball when he shoots his shot takes a deflection for a corner.
In a game that had Notts holding on for most of the second half they went 2-0 up when the ball fell to Dudfield who headed his first goal of the season converting McCann’s cross.
Well after some fine defending in the second half it was delight when the ref was to blow the final whilst and give the magpies 3 away points.
