Match Report
Notts Continued the good home from with a fine 2-1 against Shrewsbury. Notts started this match With new striker Dadi up front and after 20 minutes the new man got his head to the ball to assist PIPE to give Notts the lead. On 37 minutes Wilson made the score with a close range shot.

The second half started with former magpies man Stallard being substituted. Shrewsbury pressured well in the second half and did score on 88 minutes through Langmead. The second half will be remembered for some very strange desions by the ref,The first was when Notts kick the ball out as Dadi was on the floor after he got up Shrewsbury threw the ball back to us only for there player to run through on goal with the ball(the ref did not do anything) The second he booked five players four from Notts some deserved it some you can only feel sorry for,But the third and final one was the talking point by all fans on the way home Shrewsbury got a corner and Hart playing in goal for the away team came up the corner came over and Notts cleared the ball to Sheridan who played Pipe through who ran away from all the defenders to score in a open goal but to Pipe and the fans amazement the ref brought play back for a foul on Sheridan.

Notts played phenomenonly well, and took all 3 points for the 4th time at home in a row! They took an early lead when David Pipe slotted in one just after 20 minutes. Kelvin Wilson later doubled the lead and Notts looked as if they were going to win a high scoring game! Numerous attempts were foiled throughout the match as ex Man City keeper, Joe Hart managed to keep it at just 2! New comer Eugene Dadi seems to have made a slight impact on the fans, he looks like a decent signing. Shrewsbury hit back later in the 2nd half but it was too late. Notts take the points and go above the opposition.
