Notts County 0-4 Grimsby. Notts manager made changes to the formation playing o a 3-4-3 hoping to get back to winning ways but things did not go to plan as Notts old boys Middenhall,Bolland and Parkinson had the last laugh. Notts fell behind in the 28th minute to a Jones goal. Gritton doubled the lead just before half time. Notts started the second half as they left the first with a goal for Grimsby after 42 seconds by Kamudimba Kalala. one minute later Notts were in even bigger trouble when Mcmahon was sent off after being involved with a incident with former Notts player Bolland. Grimsby grabbed there 4th goal on 81 minutes when cohen scored in front of 5,577 fans.

Notts Co 0-0 Rushden. (24/09/2005)

Notts County Kept there unbeaten home run going with a 0-0 draw against Rushden.Notts had the best chance in the first half when Gordon with the goal keeper no where headed wide as most of the 5,142 were starting to celebrate a goal. Notts never fisinshed off Rushden in the second half with chances falling to Mcgoldrick on his first match since his loan from Southampton. Berry also impressed when coming on to replace Hurst.

Notts County today added to more players to the squad. Former Notts player now at Southampton David Mcgoldrick as returned to the lane on a months loan. David made 4 starts in the famous black and white stripes before joining Southampton. Also joining Notts today is Tyrone Berry a 18 year old winger from Crystal Palace on loan

 

Shrewsbury 2-0 Notts Co . (17/09/2005)

Notts County Lost there unbeaten run and top spot today away at Shrewsbury. Goals from McMenamin on 22 minutes and Walton on 45 minutes gave Shrewsbury a first half lead. Notts missed a penalty on 61 minutes through Baudet. Baudet was sent off after 86 minutes for Notts and Langmead was sent off after 90 minutes for Shrewsbury as both teams finished with 10 men in front of 4,011.

Notts earn a good point with ten men. Notts carried on the unbeaten run this afternoon in a entertaining match against Chester City. Notts found the going hard in the first half and just before half time scoffham was sent off with a straight red card for swinging out at one of the Chester defenders. Notts started the second half with a substituion with White replacing Palmer this ment Notts were playing a 4,3,2 and to the delight of the 5,404 crowd Notts played better with 10 men and Hurst got his 5th goal of the season on 56 minutes. Chester levelled matters on 70 minutes when davies scored with a nice shot in the corner. Both teams went for the 3 points in a nail biting finsh but a draw keeps Notts on top of league 2.

Notts County club shop today Saturday 3rd september 2005 completed the sale of the 1000th 2005/06 home shirt. Well done to Lynn for turning the club shop in to a place Notts fans can be proud to say thats our club shop. Darlington 1-1 Notts Co . (02/09/2005)

Notts went to Darlington and came back still unbeaten with a point. Darlington should of had this game wrapped up at half time but for good goal keeping and bad shooting by the Darlington strikers the score was 0-0 at half time. Darlington did score and it came on 80 minutes when Ndumbu-Nsungu scored but Notts battled hard and did score on 85 minutes when White got his first for the club in front of 5,273

Gudjon wins award . (01/09/2005)

Gudjon Thordarson became the first manager this season to win the League 2 manager of the month. Four wins and two draws in the league have helped Gudjon collect the award. Lets hope he continues to keep it going and win many more. Well done Gudjon
