Bury 2-3 Notts Co. (29/10/2005)
Notts beat Bury in this entertaining match at Gigg Lane this afternoon. Notts went in front on 35 minutes when Hurst scored his 6th goal of the season and he was soon to make it 7 when he scored again on 45 minutes to give Notts a 2-0 half time lead. Hurst got his hat trick to make it 3-0 on 57 minutes. Two minutes later Bury got a penalty when Friars handled the ball in the area which Kennedy scored to make the score 3-1. Bury got a second on 81 minutes through Whalley but Notts held out to win 3-2 in front of 2,671 fans.

Notts County and Carlisle drew 0-0 at Meadow Lane this afternoon. Notts played some nice football but never found that finishing touch. The main talking point was when Steve Scoffham was through and as he rounded the goalkeeper he look to bring the striker down but the ref played on as Notts players chased after the official.

Ruben Zadkovic had his contract terminated by the club today. Ruben asked earlier in the week to have his contract terminated as he was homesick and wanted to return to Australia. Notts dismal form carried on away at Northampton in the LDV trophy. Notts took a early lead when Long got his second of the season. Mendes pulled Nothampton level after 15 minutes and one minute later the cobblers were in the lead when Cross scored. On 22 minutes Cross got his second of the match to give Northampton a 3-1 half time lead.Notts pulled one back to make it 3-2 when Mcmahon scored from the penalty spot on 57 minutes but two late goals from McGleish on 87 and 90 minutes gave Northampton a 5-2 victory.
Rochdale 3-0 Notts Co. (15/10/2005)
Notts dismal form carried on this afternoon away to Rochdale. Notts fell behind after 4 minutes when Lambert placed a free kick wide of the diving Pilkington to give Rochdale the lead. On 12 minutes the same player scored with a header to double the lead. Cartwright made the score 3-0 after 20 minutes after Notts failed to clear in the area. Rochdale could have won by more but seem to take there foot of the pedal.
Ullathorn injury news. (11/10/2005)
Rob Ullathorne will miss the trip to Rochdale on Saturday due to being suspended.Rob collected his fifth booking on Friday against Boston the others were against Bristol Rovers,Grimsby,Lincoln and Shrewsbury which means he will miss one match.

Notts fell behind after 1 minute when Joachim beat the Notts defence to score a easy goal. Notts went 2-0 down after 11 minutes when the ball went in the net off Pipe after a mix up between the same defender and Pilkington. Notts were given a lifeline when the ref who had not had a good night sent off Whelan on 59 minutes but Notts did not take advantage of this till the 90th minute when Edwards got his second of the season. Boston also had the keeper sent off on the 5th minute of injury time for a second yellow for time wasting in front of the biggest gate this season 6,632.
Macclesfield 0-0 Notts Co . (01/10/2005)
Notts County went to Macclesfield after the midweek thrashing by Grimsby and a changes were made to the starting line up. Pipe moved back to full back with O`Callaghan moving to central defence and Edwards moving to midfield in a 4-4-2 formation. Notts hero in the first half was Pilkington who made two outstanding saves to keep the scores level. Macclesfield also hit the cross bar with Pilkington a spectator. In the second half either team could of won it with but a point was a fair result played in heavy showers.
