Keith Warsop, author of The Magpies (Sporting & Leisure Press, 1984) and Tony Brown, author of the Notts County Official History (Yore Publications, 1995) have joined forces to provide a new ‘definitive’ account of the Magpies history to the close of the 2006/07 season.
Keith has contributed an “A to Z” section, a 50-page encyclopaedia of facts and figures about the club.
More than 70 entries include subjects such as absentees, amateurs, colours, crises, families, foreign teams, grounds, managers, nicknames, penalties, secretaries, television, tours, trainers and transfers.
Tony has updated the statistical pages first published in the ‘Official History’.
There are results and line-ups grids for each season of the club’s history and a complete player list. Statistics are complete to the end of the 2006/07 season.
This book is a must for all fans of Notts County football club.
