Notts Continued there good home from with a fine 2-2 draw against promotion chasing Northampton A first half goal from Pipe on 24 minutes gave Notts a half time lead. Crowe pulled one back for Northampton on 69 minutes. Notts went back in front on 75 minutes when Crooks scored only for Jess to score 2 minutes later in front of 4,884.

2 leads both lost! As Notts draw, losing 2 points. Notts again scored very early on and yet again it was David Pipe getting the early goal. Northampton then struck back in the second half to get them level, Jason Crowe hitting it passed Pilks. Notts then regained the lead when new comer Lee Crooks scored on his 3rd match for Notts, he headed into the corner.
Northampton then levelled up again to 2 - 2, and there was no fluke or scramble about this goal! Eoin Jess scoring a great goal from the edge of the box, where were Notts defence? I don't know! So the sides split the points and Notts edge slightly up the table.
