A Walk Down Memory Lane Vol 2(The 1970,s) DVD. (31/03/2006)
This dvd will be available for £10 in the club shop within 2 weeks. The recording is of the recent Fans Forum night starring BRIAN STUBBS, JON NIXON, MICK VINTER, LES BRADD, IAN McCULLOCH and COLIN SLATER as Chairman. A superb evening of stories and memories of the 1970,s told by the ex- players who knew it best. By kind permission of the Nottingham Evening Post there are photos of the players of that great decade that are added to the DVD to make this a mini documentary of a successful era. VOL 2 ( THE 1970,s ) is a worthy successor to the 1980-81 VOL 1 DVD with Howard Wilkinson,David Hunt, Ian McCulloch and Colin Slater, which is still on sale in the club shop, priced at £10. Northampton 2-0 Notts County. (25/03/2006)
Notts County lost away to Northampton this afternoon. Northampton went in front on 39 minutes when Lee scored. Northampton were then reduced to ten men when Dyche was sent off for a bad foul on Scoffham who went off with a suspected broken leg. In this weeks issue of The League Paper They have a column by our Boss Gudjon Thordarson . The Youpies website brings the fans a teaser of Gudjon says.
I've got two more years on my contract at Notts County and I think we have better times ahead of us.
We have to give the supporters and sponsors something to come back for and if we can keep improving bit by bit, they wil return. There is potential here and if everything goes to plan we could even get to the Championship.
My first season at Notts County is not quite finished yet, but we are in and around where I expected us to be when I first arrived. With us being in mid-table, we are now more or less now planning for next season and how we are going to take things forward.
I have already started to approach players in the current squad about staying and will continue to work on that in the next couple of weeks, and I might also look elsewhere to add to my squad.

Notts County and Oxford United shared the points at Meadow Lane this afternoon. On a bitterly cold afternoon Notts played the better football but never hurt Oxford where it mattered, Palmer and White had a very good chances in the second half but Oxford held out for a point in front of 5,265 fans. Chillingworth To Stay. (16/03/2006)
Notts county official web site as brought us the news that striker Daniel Chillingworth is to sign on loan for the rest of the season tomorrow. Chillingworth as spent the last month on loan at Meadow Lane scoring two goals previous loan deal finished after last Saturdays game against Bristol Rovers. Please leave your thoughts on this here

Notts County had to make changes in this match with Kelvin Wilson moving to Preston on loan Edwards moved back into defence. Notts scored first on 5 minutes when Chillingworth got his second in two games. Rovers got themselves back in the game on 53 minutes when Haldane scored. Notts and Mansfield played out a 2-2 draw at Meadow Lane. Notts scored first when Palmer scored on 43 minutes. Mansfield scored on 61 minutes through Wilson and again on 64 minutes when Barker scored. Notts got a point when Chillingworth scored on 76 minutes in front of 9,779 fans.
