Notts scored first when some fine work from Parkinson who got him some space in the area and with a fine cross found butcher who put the pies ahead for his 8th goal of the season.Scored again!

MK Dons got back in the game when some poor defending let in Wright who made no mistake six yards out.

It was the Notts keeper who was under pressure now and only the woodwork and and a fantastic save was to keep the scores level.

Weston caused problems and when the Notts player was going to get cleared he was blocked off by a MK Dons defender who was shown a yellow card.

From the free kick MacKenzie thought he put Notts back in front but the keeper got a hand to it to push it round the post for a corner.

Half time Notts County 1-1 MK Dons

The Second half was a tight game with very few chances

Pilkington in the Notts goal had to be on his toes to parry a chance away.

Notts substitute Lee had a header saved.

The highlight of the second half for the Notts fans anyway was a squirrel it came from the sirrel stand rushed on the pitch and when it ran into the back of the goal at the family stand end a big cheer came from the fans.

The game now entered the final three minutes shown by the 4th official when silk gave away a free kick which was deflected for a corner.

The corner was poor one but it fell to Johnson who from short range beat the Notts keeper to give Mk dons all the points.

A game which Notts did not deserve to lose.
