Match Report

Notts go into this away trip at the new built Stadium MK on the back of four straight league draws.

Jason Lee returned from his three-match ban and was put straight in to the starting line up to partner Dudfield and Parkinson.

Notts first scare came on 5 minutes with knight causing danger but the defenders manage to clear the ball away.

Diallo is booked on 8 minutes for a foul on Dudfield after some fine work by the Notts striker.

The resulting free-kick is crossed by Mayo and Lee wins the header but has the ball falls for smith he cannot do much with the ball and it goes out of play.

Dudfield is the next to have a chance has he breaks through after the dons give the ball away but Mk dons defenders clear the ball before Jason Lee can shoot.

Parkinson losers the ball in a crunching tackle and Mk dons player sterling breaks through and shoots just wide.

The Mk dons keeper Gueret handles the ball outside his box and is booked
A free kick to Notts on 14 minutes is touched back to Mayo who shoots but hits the wall and falls to smith who tries his luck and is just wide.

16 minutes long throw and headed towards goal but refs spots a foul.
Andrews is the next one to test Pilkington in the Notts goal but his effort goes wide on 21 minutes.

A cross from Notts falls for Lee whose header is saved at the far post by the keeper on 22 minutes.

On 41 minutes Andrews forces a fantastic saved from the Notts keeper at the expense of a corner but from that corner Notts were to go behind like in every other league match this season when Andrews scored for the home side.

Now it was the home side that looked more dangerous and with just a few minutes left dyers tries his luck with a fine shot that’s has the Notts keeper Pilkington flying through the air but the ball goes just wide

Half Time MK Dons 1-0 Notts County

The second half was only a few minutes old when a fight! Well you could call it handbags at 20 pacers was started by a bad challenge by lee on 48 minutes.

After the ref and Linesmen had sorted it out a drop ball was given and both captains spoken too.

Dudfield broke down the right who passed to Canoville but the ball was cleared to dyer who sprints clear then lays on a chance to Johnson but Pilkington drops on the ball and stopped the danger.

On 59 minutes Notts put Spencer Weir Daley on for Parkinson.

The young striker was straight in the action and after some fine work from Smith and Dudfield but when McCann players the ball over the Keeper saves easy.

The Young striker next manages to find Lee who’s shot is save easy by the keeper.
The home side now decided to pile the pressure on the Notts goal and from a long throw from sterling an overhead kick from Knight and saved by Pilkington and the ball is cleared.

Another long throw from sterling again is dealt poorly from Notts and gallon shoots after fine work form dyer but is cleared for a corner.

From the resulting corner Notts yet again concede from a set piece when Swales heads in with the Notts keeper beaten.

The home side are now battering Notts and maybe at this point you could be looking at more goals from the home side.

The Notts chances are now few and far between and when one fell to Dudfield his header is just wide with 15 min's left after some patience build up.

The ref again upset the home fans when Knight is bundled over in the box but the ref gives a goal kick the same player then chasers the ref and gets booked for his comments on the decision.

The home side now were playing the better football and on 85 minutes Dyer crosses to Wilbraham and he puts his header pass the Notts keeper Pilkington who missed the cross.

Notts did get a corner from a Somner shot but when Mayo takes it like most Notts things in the second half it comes to nothing.
