Notts manager Gudjon Thordarson had to make changes to the squad with Captain Baudet suspended for this clash so Edwards was promoted to captain for the day. Other changes were dadi was relegated to the bench with Sissoko and Ullathorne started. Notts started the brighter and after only 34 seconds new boy Nathan Doyle got a shot in on goal . As half time was fast approaching Lincoln scored when GREEN scored from only 6 yards to give the imps a half time lead

Notts got themselves level on 69 minutes when a Palmer free kick was headed in by captain for the day EDWARDS from 6 yards. But as in previous 3 matches Notts were to go down 2-1 when McCOMBE scored on 79 minutes. Dadi thought he had got Notts a point late on only for it to be ruled out. In a poor February Notts lost 5 games by 1 goal and the last 3 games 2-1 so as the fat lady started to sing on the slight play-off chances or is she shouting for the teams below us in the table as another poor month could see Notts dragged in to a relegation battle
