Notts County scored one penalty and missed another to only get a point against Barnet at Meadow Lane. Dudfield got the Notts goal after re-taking his penalty but Barnet got a point on 74 minutes when Bailey scored. Final score Notts County 1-1 Barnet . Full Report Here

Notts County official web site have brought us the news that Notts have signed Jay Smith on a permanent basis. Jay Smith has spent the last 2 months on loan with the magpies from Southend and it is from some impressive performances that has earned him this deal. Notts County official web site have brought us the news that Notts County FC have agreed with Sheffield United FC that Ian Ross can come back to Meadow lane on loan to the end of the season. Ian has spent the last 6 months on loan at Meadow Lane,but had to go back to Sheffield United to see how he was progressing. Please give your thoughts on this HERE

Lifeline Quiz Night . (21/01/2007)

Test your knowledge and give yourself a chance of winning £2,500. The quiz will be held on Thursday 15th March in the 1862 suite at Meadow Lane. The bar opens at 7pm with the quiz starting at 7:45pm. Notts Score Five At Home . (20/01/2007)

Notts County got back to winning at home with a fine win against Torquay. Notts scored first in this high scoring game when Mendes headed in from a Dudfield cross on 23 minutes. The lead was to last only a minute when Cooke levelled it on 25 minutes for Torquay. On 35 minutes the leagues bottom club shocked the Meadow Lane crowd by taking the lead when Dickson scored. This woke the Magpies up and two goals in two minutes on 39 from Smith and 40 from Parkinson gave Notts a half time lead. A crowd of 4,311 had to wait till the 83rd minute before more goals came and it was Notts who made it 4-2 when Lee scored, and the big man was to take his League account into double figures on 90 minutes making the Final score Notts County 5-2 Torquay . Notts Win Away At Accrington Stanley. (13/01/2007)

Notts County got back to winning ways away at Accrington Stanley. Notts scored first on 9 minutes when Dudfield scored, but 5 minutes later Brown levelled it up for the home side. On 20 minutes a mistake by former Notts goalkeeper Elliot gave Lee a chance and the big man made no mistake to make it 2-1 to Notts. This was the end of the goals but on 72 minutes former Forest player Rogers went in with both feet on Pipe, this started a mass brawl and after the ref had calmed things down Rogers was shown the red card, after talking again to the linesman Pipe was also shown the red card. Steve Thompson was also sent to the stand for comments made to the ref. Notts held out in front of just 1,702 to earn 3 good away points. Final result Accrington Stanley 1-2 Notts County. Another Home Match Another Defeat! . (01/01/2007)

Notts County suffered there 4th consecutive home defeat and there 6th defeat out of there last 7 home matches. Notts went behind after 34 minutes when walters gave the visitors a deserved lead. Notts got a goal back just before half time when Lee got his 8th goal of the season on 45 minutes. The visitors grabbed all the points when Westwood scored after 79 minutes in front of just 4,019 on this cold New Years Day at Meadow Lane. Final result Notts County 1-2 Chester City.
