Russell Hoult - Who are you

Here at www.youpies.co.uk we look at our new player Russell Hoult from his first days in football right up to the present day.

Russell was born on the 22nd November 1972 in Leicester.

Russell has played for 10 different clubs before joining the magpies starting back in 1991.

Some of the clubs he has played for on a couple of occasions.

Russell began his career in 1991 at Leicester City, If I remember correctly his first game he was sat in the stand eating a burger when the keeper went down injured just before kick-off and they had to come and get him from his seat(If I am wrong I apologize).

During his time at Leicester he made 14 appearances.  

While he was at Leicester he was sent on loan to Lincoln City twice he made 19 appearances. Blackpool he did not make any appearances. Cheltenham Town it is not known how many appearances he made and Bolton Wanderers he made 5 appearances.

He next signed for Derby County in 1995 this lasted up to 2000 after he made 123 appearances when he was sent to Portsmouth on loan when he made 10 appearances.

This move was made a permanent one in 2000, but in 2001 after 34 appearances he was again on the move to WBA

In his time at West Bromwich Albion he made 223 appearances.  

Hoult was loaned to Nottingham Forest in 2005 and played in 8 matches.

His next move was to Stoke City in 2007 and he played in 2 matches before the magpies got him on loan in February 2008.

He made 14 appearances and kept seven clean sheets

We hope that he continues his form while he was on loan to us last season and helps Notts County get out of this league.
