Today the Notts County official web site brought us the news that Glynn Hurst as had is contract terminated. Both parties Glynn and Notts County both agreed this and on the 31st December Glynn will no longer be a Notts County player. Please leave your thoughts on this here

Tonight's match against Northampton is called off. Today at 13:00 it was agreed that tonight's match against Northampton was to called off due to the safety of the fans. With temperatures to get down below zero and more snow forecast and with the stands already having snow on them it was decided that the safety of the fans was a big concern.

Notts got off to a bad start in this christmas period. Notts went behind on 63 minutes when Basham scored to give Oxford the lead. Five minutes later the lead was doubled when Sabin scored and the points were Oxford`s when Quinn scored on 77 minutes in front of 5,626.

Notts County and Torquay played each other again but this time in the FA Cup and it was Torquay who went into the third round draw. Torquay scored first after 45 minutes when Bedeau scored. Notts got back on terms when Mcmahon scored after 54 minutes but Torquay booked a third round place when Bedeau got his second of the game after 69 minutes in front of 2,407.
