Notts County earned a fine away point against Swindon at the County Ground. Notts scored first when Dudfield got his 5th goal of the season after 35 minutes. Notts County lost for the second time over the christmas period away at Stockport County. Two second half goals from Pilkinton on 47 minutes and Dickinson on 90 minutes leave the magpies 4 points off the play-offs in 8th place. The match was played in front of 5,823. Notts County got back to winning ways with a fine away win at Darlington. It was a scrappy match at a very cold Darlington but on 84 minutes Alan White warmed us up with a fine header giving Notts all 3 points in front of 3,253. Final result Darlington 0-1 Notts County . Notts beaten by bottom club . (09/12/2006)

Notts County were today beaten 2-1 at home by bottom club Macclesfield. Heath put the visitors ahead on 25 minutes then 8 minutes later McIntyre scored from the spot after Deeney had brought down Murphy. Neadham to leave the Lane . (07/12/2006)

Today Liam Needham has left the Club after Notts County FC
and Liam came to a mutually understanding to terminate his contract.
He made 22 appearances last season after signing from
Gainsborough Trinity. The Youpies web site wish Liam all the best in his future career.

Notts lost for the second game running this time to Hartlepool. The only goal of the game came on 8 minutes when Monkhouse scored. This was one of Notts County`s worst performances of the season so far, lets hope they can turn it around this weekend when they entertain the leagues bottom club Macclesfield.
