Match Report
Notts got off to a flying start in this match and it was in the first minute when Martin had a chance but shot wide. Notts kept the pressure on and after ten minutes Martin got his head to a Mcmahon cross to give Notts the lead. For all the pressure and notts was piling on the pressure they could not get the second goal. With half time coming fast Barnets Hatch broke through as Pilkington came out the Barnet player headed over the goalkeeper who landed on top of the Barnet player and Baudet cleared off the line as Barnet players and fans shouted for a penalty

The second half started with Barnet piling on the pressure and on 72 minutes they were shouting for a penalty again when Palmer handled the ball the ref gave a free kick on the just out site the area which went to nothing. Around the 80 minute mark Scoffham broke down the wing and crossed the ball for White who was on his own in the box but to the home crowds amazement he stood on the ball and the danger was over. With the match getting close to the end the ball went out of play for a Barnet throw and a incident occurred with a ball boy and Batt of Barnet which the jimmy sirrel stand fans did not like.

Notts finally get a victory. They take 6 points out of their last 2 home games. Dan Martin scoring the only goal of the match on his Home debut! Barnet troubling Pilkington very little and Notts scuffing chances all match, made it not the most entertaining match of the season. And as time went on Barnet got more frustrated with the match. Damien Batt taking his anger out on the Notts ball boy in the final minutes. Complaints were made about it after the match. A much needed win for Notts, and a much needed 3 points for the home side who are just points away from the play offs.
