The Notts County 97-98 championship winning team plus a few other players beat an all stars Forest side 4-0 at Meadow Lane today. The goals came from Robson, Jones, Richo and Justin Jackson. Nottingham Forest finished the game with 12 men on the pitch but still could not score in front of a crowd about 3,000. Please leave your thoughts on this match here
Cheltenham 2-0 Notts County . (29/04/2006)
Notts who needed something from this match went home with nothing. Cheltenham went in front after only 3 minutes when Guinan scored. Notts did put up a fight in the second half but when Vincent scored on 82 minutes in front of 4,518 the points had gone to Cheltenham. Notts County and Rochdale played out a draw at Meadow Lane today. Notts went in front on 72 minutes when Martin took advantage of some nice rebounds and got his 3rd goal of the season. Notts County went down away at league leaders Carlisle. Notts went in front on 25 minutes when Steve Scoffham got his 5th goal of the season. Bridges made it 1-1 on the stroke of half time. Ian Richardson`s testimonial will take place at Meadow Lane on Sunday April 30th at 3pm. The game will be between the 97/98 Notts championship side managed by Sam Allardyce and a Forest legends side managed by Frank Clark. Gates open at 1.30 and price for admission will be £12 adults and £1 children. Also there is a penalty shootout. Notts County lost for the 16th time this season away at Barnet. Notts scored first when Scoffham got his 4th of the season on 46 minutes. Notts County and promotion chasing Orient played out a 1-1- draw at Meadow Lane. After a very poor first half Orient went ahead when former Mansfield player Corden scored after 48 minutes.
