Notts County 1-2 Rochdale
Rochdale got their first-ever win at Meadow Lane this afternoon.
Rochdale were always the better team in a scrappy match,and in a poor first half Notts only chance was a Parkinson header from a McCann cross But the visiting keeper Gilks manage to make a great save to keep the score level.
Rochdale were unlucky not to score late on in the first half when Pilkington saved after Edwards had made a mistake then Edwards cleared the ball away.

Notts started the second half better and on 53 minutes a Smith free-kick found Lee in the area who made no mistake to put the Magpies in front.
On 80 minutes Rochdale got level when Murray headed in from a corner after some poor defending.
Then on 83 minutes Rochdale got all 3 points when a mistake by Pilkington trying to keep the ball from going for a corner but he only managed to find Muirhead, who put the ball over the line for a victory that Rochdale deserved.
